• Since 1956, almost 4 million people have started the Award.
• Last year alone, the Award reached a record breaking number of
  275,000 young people who were able to take part in the Award, over
  30,000 of whom were experiencing significant disadvantage.

But what difference has it made?

Funded by the Pears Foundation, the Centre for Children and Youth at the University of Northampton is looking in-depth at the experiences of participants, the leaders and the organisations that make the Award happen
and the life long effects on participants.

In order to gain as much feedback as possible, we are inviting anyone doing their Award to complete our first Impact survey. Please pass on our invitation to anyone you know who’s doing their Award so that they too have a chance to have their say.
